Annet Mahendru
Mahendru was born to Mahendru, who has a Russian Indian mother as well as a Hindu Afghan father. She speaks fluently German Russian English. Her parents are Russian and Indian. An improvised performance she choreographed at the age of 11 which aired on German television, transformed her into the Russian dancer who was a snow maiden. When she graduated of New York's top High School, she was awarded her bachelor's in English degree from St. John's University. She studied comedy and improvisation at Groundlings School after leaving HB Studio. Her birthplace was in Kabul Afghanistan to a Hindu-Indian father Ghanshan Ken Mahendru and an Russian mom Olga. The family moved from Afghanistan to East Meadow New York, together with her father after she was 13, and is now starring with Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel in FX's The Americans. She is best known as the former KGB Agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. She played a recurring character on The Following on Fox, The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
